Why clean solar panels?

This is especially important in coastal areas as sea salt builds up on the surface of the panels and and the ions in the sea air can corrode the aluminium frames. Regular cleaning stops the build up of these salts and therefore increases the lifespan of your installations and mountings.

How do BeCleanSolar clean solar panels? 

The majority of our cleaning is done from the ground via water fed pole however some situations don’t allow this and so a ladder, tower scaffold or cherry picker maybe required so we can reach the panels with the  water fed pole. 

How Much does it cost?

This varies due to location and what equipment is needed. Most domestic installations have around 20 panels, this would usually be around the £55-£65 mark. However we are very competitive with our pricing and if you find another quote we will do our best to beat it. 

How far will BeCleanSolar travel? 

Based in Croyde we cover we cover the majority of North Devon including Barnstaple, Bideford, Woolacombe, Braunton, Lynmouth, Lynton and all other surrounding towns and villages. Give us a call and we can have a chat and we will most likely come and visit you.

Where can I find my warranty information?

This will most likely be in the pack you received from your installer when your solar panel installation was completed. If not your solar panel installer will be able to tell you where to find it. Worst case scenario if you know the brand and model of your solar panels you can look it up online on technical data sheets. Any trouble again give us a call and we will be more than happy to help. 

What equipment do BeCleanSolar use?

At BeCleanSolar we use pure water for more information on this see our Pure water explained page. We also use telescopic water fed poles so we don’t have to walk on your roof potentially damaging your roof or solar panels. This water fed pole is fitted with a soft free flow brush and obviously an experienced cleaner.
